Saturday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $22,198 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s eight-race program.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $321.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.
Friday’s Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with Shesalittle Edgy [No. 1A, $5.90*] taking a six-furlong starter optional claimer with Ruben Silvera aboard for trainer Rudy Rodriguez.
Rodriguez sent out the next winner with the Romero Maragh-piloted Coquito [No. 6, $7.70], who captured a one-mile claimer, in Race 4. One race later, Cara’s Dreamweaver [No. 3, $13.60] won a seven-furlong state-bred maiden with Eric Cancel in the irons for trainer Mitchell Friedman, in Race 5.
In Race 6, a six–furlong maiden special weight, the Michelle Nevin-conditioned Moonlit Drive [No. 6, $35.80] prevailed under Manny Franco. In Race 7, a one-turn mile claiming race, the Rob Atras-trained Flat Out Flying [No. 8, $8.70*] sent jockey Christopher Elliott to the winner’s circle.
With the carryover already confirmed, the Gregg Sacco-trained and Manny Franco-piloted My Magic Wand [No. 11, $8.40] prevailed in the Race 8 finale, a six-furlong state-bred allowance optional claimer.
Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 4 at approximately 1:40 p.m. Eastern. First post for the nine-race card that features the $150,000 Ladies [Race 2] is 12:10 p.m.
