Pick 6 carryover of $18K on Thursday at Aqueduct Racetrack

Thursday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $18,140 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Wednesday’s eight-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $1,007.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Wednesday’s Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with Montauk Mystique [No. 1, $5*] taking a one-mile maiden claimer with Katie Davis aboard for trainer Michael Miceli.

Trainer Richard Dutrow, Jr. sent out the next winner with the Lane Luzzi-piloted Ignite the Light [No. 5, $3.90*], who captured a one-mile maiden special weight, in Race 4. One race later, Jackson’s Dixie [No. 3, $15] won a seven-furlong claiming race with Heman Harkie in the irons for trainer Roshan Samsundar, in Race 5.

In Race 6, a 1 1/8–mile claiming race, the Jeremiah Englehart-conditioned Street Swagg [No. 5, $11] prevailed under Kendrick Carmouche. In Race 7, a 6 1/2-furlong starter optional claiming race, the John Kimmel-trained Shadyside [No. 8, $5.90] gave Carmouche his second win of the day.

With the carryover already confirmed, the Jose Jimenez-trained and Sofia Vives-piloted Toxic Girl [No. 10, $30.60] prevailed in the Race 8 finale, a one-mile state-bred maiden claimer.

Thursday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 1:40 p.m. Eastern. First post for the eight-race card is 12:40 p.m.
