Pick 6 carryover of $107K into Wednesday’s card at Saratoga Race Course

Wednesday’s card at Saratoga Race Course will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $107,469 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Sunday’s 11-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $2,451.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Sunday’s sequence kicked off in Race 4 with a favorite as Save Us Melania [No. 9, $4.10*] took a six-furlong maiden claimer with Tyler Gaffalione up for trainer Saffie Joseph, Jr.

Conditioner Rachel Sells sent out the next winner in the Katie Davis-piloted Within View [No. 3, $29.40], who took a 1 1/16-mile inner turf maiden claimer in Race 5, one race before La Cara [No. 2, $11.20] launched a mild upset in Race 6, a seven-furlong maiden special weight with Ricardo Santana, Jr. in the irons for Hall of Fame trainer Mark Casse.

In Race 7, the upsets continued with Charging Aero [No. 9, $15] outlasting Mister J T in a 6 1/2-furlong claimer with Luis Rivera, Jr. aboard for trainer Fernando Abreu.

Dual Eclipse Award-winning trainer Brad Cox captured the Listed $150,000 Mahony with the Dylan Davis-ridden Fandom [No. 1, $10], a pacesetting victor of the 5 1/2-furlong Mellon turf sprint, in Race 8.

With 5-of-9 horses left uncovered in the final leg, Race 9, Hall of Famer Joel Rosario closed to victory aboard longshot Ski Country [No. 8, $53.50] for trainer Orlando Noda in a seven-furlong claimer, triggering the carryover.

Wednesday’s Pick 6 begins in Race 4 at approximately 2:52 p.m. Eastern. First post for the nine-race program that features the Grade 1, $150,000 Jonathan Sheppard H. [Race 1] and the New York-bred $125,000 Suzie O’Cain [Race 5] is 1:10 p.m. Eastern.
