Pick 6 carryover of $35K on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack

Saturday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $35,461 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s nine-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $290.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Friday’s sequence began in Race 4 with Concorde Spirit [No. 7, $3.20*] graduating in a six-furlong state-bred maiden claimer with Junior Alvarado in the irons for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott.

The Mike Maker-trained Flat to Da Mat [No. 4, $34] followed with an upset win under Dylan Davis in a six-furlong turf maiden in Race 5, one race before the Jorge Abreu-trained Two for Charging [No. 5, $4.20*] took Race 6, a seven-furlong claiming sprint, with Flavien Prat aboard.

Race 7, a 6 1/2-furlong claiming sprint, saw Davis visit the winner's cirle again with Commerce Comet [No. 7, $8.20] for trainer Rick Dutrow, Jr., who earned the double when sending out Gaslight Dancer [No. 10, $8.10*] to win a six-furlong turf optional claimer under Hall of Famer Joel Rosario in Race 8.

With four horses covered in the Race 9 finale, the Linda Dixon-trained Mo Kreesa [No. 1, $13.20] triggered the carryover when capturing a one-mile state-bred maiden claimer under Eliseo Ruiz.

Saturday’s sequence begins in Race 5 at approximately 1:40 p.m. Eastern, and features the Listed $150,000 Central Park in Race 9. First post for the 10-race card, which also features the $100,000 Notebook in Race 3, is 11:40 a.m.
