The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has canceled live racing on Thursday at Aqueduct Racetrack due to high winds forecast to impact New York City throughout the day.
The National Weather Service is calling for sustained high winds on Thursday with gusts approaching 50 mph. New York City is currently under a high wind advisory. As a result of these conditions, NYRA has canceled Thursday’s eight-race card at the Big A.
Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting, and wagering is available via NYRABets.com.
Live racing is scheduled to resume on Friday at the Big A with an eight-race card. First post on Friday is 12:10 p.m. Eastern.
