FOX Sports to present the 2024 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe from Longchamp Racecourse in Paris

The New York Racing Association, Inc.  today announced it is partnering with FOX Sports to present live coverage and analysis of Sunday’s 2024 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe from Longchamp Racecourse in Paris.

Sunday’s special broadcast will air on FS1 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Eastern, with the €5 million (approximately $5.5 million) Group 1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe for 3-year-olds & up going 1 1/2 miles on the turf. Greg Wolf will offer stateside updates live in studio from Aqueduct Racetrack.

This year’s edition will see conditioner Andre Fabre go for a ninth win in the prestigious event with Irish-bred Sosie, the local winner of the Group 2 Qatar Prix Niel last out and the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris in July.

The race is part of the Breeders' Cup "Win and You're In" Challenge Series with the winner earning automatic and free entry to the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on November 1 and 2 at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. The winner of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe receives a berth into the Grade 1 Longines Breeders' Cup Turf.

Post time for the Group 1 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is set for approximately 10:20 a.m. Eastern.

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) today announced that Sunday’s featured Grade 2, $200,000 Miss Grillo [Race 8], a 1 1/16-mile turf test for 2-year-old fillies at Belmont at the Big A, has been cancelled due to significant rainfall and will be moved to Sunday, October 6. The Miss Grillo offers a “Win and You’re In” berth to the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf on November 1 at Del Mar.
