Our backyard provides access to picnic tables, most of them available on a first-come, first-served basis, numerous concession stands, daily entertainment, a view of Paddock and Grandstand Apron access. View daily admission pricing information.

ARTISTS GALLERY
Just inside the East Avenue admission gates. Numerous equine artists display (and sell!) their beautiful paintings and prints.
BETS SQUAD
The Bets Squad is your one stop source for all things horse racing. Visit us and get your questions answered about horse racing, reading the program, coming up with selections and making your bets. Bets Squad locations are available throughout the property, inside the building and outside.
BINOCULARS
Binocular rentals are available at the Guest Services Centers on the first floor of the Clubhouse adjacent to the elevator and on the first floor of the Grandstand by the finish line.
BROADCASTING
NYRA’s daily live racing program, Saratoga Live, is broadcast on FOX Sports, SNY, and more.

CASH CARD VENDING MACHINES
NYRA Cash Cards can be purchased at vending machines located throughout the racetrack using cash, credit and debit cards. Additional funds can be added to Cash Cards with any live teller or self-service terminal.
CASHING TICKETS BY MAIL
Winning pari-mutuel tickets must be presented for payment on or before March 31st of the following year. Please allow sufficient time to make the deadline and send the ticket along with your name and address via Certified or Registered Mail. Please make a copy of the tickets for your records and allow 60 days for a reply. Do not staple or place tape on the tickets. Mail to: NYRA, Attn: Mutuel Department, P.O. Box 90. Jamaica, NY 11417. It is advised you keep a copy for your records.
COAT CHECK
Coat checks are available at the Guest Services office
COOLERS
Coolers no larger than 12" x 18" are permitted at Saratoga Race Course. Coolers are permitted in the Building and Clubhouse, the Trackside Apron and the Top of the Stretch and must be kept off seats and out of aisles. Coolers are permitted in the Backyard picnic areas and must be kept off tables. Coolers may contain plastic bottles or cans and are subject to search by the NYRA security at any time.
DINING AT THE TRACK
Dining options include: the Turf Terrace Dining Room, Club Terrace, and The Lower Porch.

FEDERAL REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
Any patron placing bets, purchasing or redeeming vouchers, or making card or account cash deposits or withdrawals that exceed $10,000 in 24 - hour period is required by federal law to complete a Currency Report. These are reportable cash transactions requiring that the identity of the patron be filed with the IRS. By federal law NYRA is required to obtain identification from customers purchasing or redeeming vouchers and/or making cash deposits or withdrawals on NYRA Cash Cards when the relevant dollar amount totals $3,000 or more in business day.

There are first aid facilities located on the first floor of the Grandstand beside the Fourstardave Sports Bar and outside next to the Big Red Spring.

Officially licensed NYRA souvenir stands are located in the backyard picnic area adjacent to the Silks Room and near the Paddock Saddling area. On the 1st floor of the grandstand at Saratoga Styles and also trackside adjacent to the Chowder Bar, 2nd floor of the Clubhouse adjacent to the escalator and also in the At the Rail Pavilion. The gift shops offer an array of goods, including blankets, books, clothing, hats, jewelry, key chains, New York Lottery Tickets, medicine, pocketbooks, posters, toys for children of all ages, watches, and more. GUEST SERVICES CENTERS
Are located on the first floor of the Clubhouse, on the first floor of the Grandstand adjacent to the food court at the finish line, inside The Stretch, and inside the 1863 Club. The Guest Services Office is located in the Administrative Building in the backyard picnic area.
IRS W2-G REPORTING POLICY
Any winning wager or group of identical wagers (same track, race, pool and winning numbers) whose individual odds are 300-1 or greater and whose winning dollar value either individually or when added together is between $600 and $5,000 (minus the amount of the individual winning wager(s)) is subject to IRS reporting requirements to be completed on form W2-G.
IRS W2-G WITHHOLDING POLICY
Any winning wager or group of identical wagers whose individual odds are 300-1 or greater and whose winning dollar value either individually or added together exceeds $5,000 (minus the amount of the individual winning wager(s)) is subject to an IRS withholding tax at the rate of 24 percent.
IRS WINDOWS
Windows designated for IRS winning tickets are on all floors. Patrons must present a picture ID (driver’s license or non-driver’s state ID, federal, state, or city ID, passport, or NYRA ID). A second form of identification showing the patron’s social security number must also be presented.
LOST & FOUND
Lost & Found is in the security office, which is located at the far end of the Grandstand, mezzanine level.
NO SMOKING POLICY
In accordance with legislation, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building or in any covered seating or dining area. Smoking is permitted on the trackside apron and in the backyard area. For everyone’s convenience and comfort, we ask for your cooperation.
OFFICIAL TRACK PHOTOGRAPHER
Order winner’s circle photographs of your favorite horses from Adam Coglianese, our official track photographer. Composite photos include finish line, winner’s circle and trophy presentation (if applicable). Photos are available for purchase at the Track Photographer’s office located behind the Jockey’s Room, adjacent to the silks display. PADDOCK
Watch the horses being saddled before each race in our beautiful paddock. Located in the backyard, it is accessible from the Clubhouse and Grandstand.
