Racing fans are invited to continue a summer tradition during Breakfast at Saratoga driven by the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA). Breakfast at Saratoga welcomes guests to enjoy a morning buffet on The Clubhouse Porch at Saratoga Race Course while the thoroughbreds train on the main track.
Breakfast is held every live racing day from 7:00 to 9:30am, excluding Travers Day and Labor Day.
Breakfast is available on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are not accepted. Admission to the track is free during breakfast hours.
Adults | $30
Children 12 & under | $12
One of the highlights of the breakfast program is the free backstretch tram tour, driven by CDTA (weather permitting). The first stable-area tram leaves the main clubhouse entrance at approximately 7:30am with additional trams departing every 15 minutes. The tram takes guests to the backstretch, at which time they unload the tram and continue on foot. Each tour is 45 minutes in length. The last tour departs at approximately 9:00am. The tour is available every live race day with the exception of Travers Day and Labor Day.
Due to the popularity of the backstretch tour, trams are often full to capacity before departure time. We strongly suggest that you plan your morning accordingly. Experience has shown that tour popularity increases as the morning progresses. The last tour of the morning is the most popular, and there are times when guests are turned away.
The highly popular Breakfast and Breeding Farm Tour program returns for 2024! Tours this year are offered Wednesday through Saturday, plus select Sundays, throughout the meet.
Each ticket includes a buffet breakfast during morning training at Saratoga, a round-trip trolley ride from the track to the designated farm, a guided walking tour of the farm, and same-day admission to Saratoga Race Course.
Adults | $95
Children 12 & under | $35
