Accessible seating is available in the Clubhouse and Grandstand of Saratoga Race Course
Gifting or reselling of seats to an individual who does not require a wheelchair accommodation will require that the user visit the NYRA Box Office prior to the race date to exchange their ticket. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to communicate this policy to the ticket user. NYRA may exchange wheelchair accessible tickets for more appropriate seat locations, subject to availability. Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability. NYRA reserves the right to take appropriate legal action against individuals who fraudulently obtain wheelchair & companion seats.
To order tickets by phone, please call us at (800) 814-7846 or (518) 584-6200 ext. 3568. Tickets may be purchased in person, Monday through Sunday during the racing season from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm.
A limited number of Grandstand seats are on sale each morning of a race day at the Ticket Office at Union Avenue Gate at 9 am. Closed Tuesdays. There is a limit of four (4) seats per person. Cash, American Express, Visa, and MasterCard are accepted.
After Opening Day phone orders are accepted until 4:30 pm each racing day. No telephone orders are accepted for “Day Of” or “Sun Seats.”
Admission (Clubhouse and Grandstand) and Reserved Seats (Clubhouse and Grandstand) are separate items. Admission does not include any reserved seating. Reserved seating is purchased separately and does not include the admission fee.
Accessible Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are located in the Clubhouse and the Grandstand.
Elevators for guests with disabilities are available in the Clubhouse and Grandstand. The Clubhouse elevator is located near the finish line and allows patrons access to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. The Grandstand special access elevator is our freight elevator located near the Carousel. It is staffed by a White Cap (usher) and is the only accessible elevator in the Grandstand.
Emergency medical personnel and ambulances are at NYRA each racing day. There are two first-aid locations: the first aid facility on the first floor of the Grandstand beside the Carousel Mini Theatre (open each racing day from 10:00 am until one-half hour after the last race. Ext. 4291) and the auxiliary first aid station located in the backyard near the Big Red Spring. Automated external defibrillators are located at various points throughout the grounds, and designated medical personnel have been trained and certified to use them. Guests in need of medical assistance should notify security personnel and go to the nearest first-aid station. Roving medical personnel are also available throughout the facility.
All NYRA lots have Accessible parking spaces available. Designated parking is available for guests with disabilities. These spaces, including van-accessible spaces, are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. Clubhouse ticket holders should try to park Trackside while Grandstand ticketholders should park in our Preferred Parking lot near the Oklahoma Training Track. Valet Parking is available for all guests near the Clubhouse entrance.
All public restrooms are accessible to our patrons with disabilities.
While pets are not allowed in Saratoga Race Course, NYRA welcomes guests with disabilities who have a service animal. Patrons with service animals may contact Guest Services if any special assistance is needed.
NYRA is dedicated to meeting the needs of our patrons with disabilities. We welcome your comments and questions and ask that you contact us if you have suggestions relating to accessibility:
