Race 7

In the 7th race at Saratoga on 08/22/2024 there was a Steward’s inquiry as well as a Jockeys Objection involving the winner #1 Camera and the third-place finisher #4 Whocouldaskformo. The incident occurred at the top of the stretch. After reviewing the replay and questioning the riders involved, The Stewards determined that #1 Camera shifts in off her running line into the path of #4 Whocouldaskformo who had to check sharply losing forward momentum and alter course. #4 Whocouldaskformo recovers and finishes third by a ¾ length margin. As a result, the Stewards disqualified #1 Camera from 1st and placed him 3rd behind #4Whocouldaskformo. The new order of finish is 7-4-1-2.
