Dress Code: Collared shirts required for gentlemen. Jackets are recommended but optional. No jeans or shorts for ladies and gentlemen.
Take in the panoramic views of the Belmont Park oval from Long Island’s largest restaurant – the Garden Terrace! Boasting tiered, trackside seating and floor-to-ceiling windows, the Garden Terrace allows guests to experience the excitement of live racing while enjoying a buffet. Along with unbeatable, arena-like views of the finish line, the temperature-controlled venue also has a television at every table and betting windows just steps away.
Reservations include a 3.5 hour buffet lunch, soft drinks, water, coffee, tea, tax, gratuity, admission and race day programs.
There is a 200-guest minimum to reserve this space for private events.
Dress code: Jackets and blazers optional. Cargo shorts, t-shirts, halter tops, midriff tops, athletic wear, frayed or torn jeans/denim or shorts and tennis shoes are not permitted.
The Backyard Picnic area is a fan favorite because of its space and accommodations for children!
Barbecues, canopies, and tents are not permitted anywhere.
Fans may bring coolers no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” into the backyard at Belmont Park. Coolers larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and outside alcohol are only permitted at our trackside Top of the Stretch picnic area. Coolers will not be allowed in any other area at the track. As in the past, fans can bring in coolers containing cans or plastic bottles.
All coolers will be subject to search by NYRA security. No coolers of any kind will be permitted in the buildings, including all seating areas, or on the track apron.
