Intercontinental came to Belmont Park as the highly regarded younger sister of a Breeders’ Cup winner. She left with her own Breeders’ Cup trophy. The product of the Juddmonte – Bobby Frankel juggernaut won the G2 Just a Game in her Belmont debut. She came back the following year to take the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf over the Belmont Park turf course, as her sister Banks Hill had done four years prior. The victory sealed an Eclipse Award.
