Race 1

In the 1st race at Belmont at the Big A on 09/20/2024 there was a Stewards inquiry involving the #9 Hit That Review (IRE), who finished second, and #6 Replevin, who finished 5th. The incident occurred mid-stretch. After reviewing the replay and questioning the riders involved, the Stewards determined that #9 Hit That Review (IRE) is allowed to drift in bumping the #6 Replevin who made contact with other horses to his inside as a result. However, the Board of Stewards are satisfied that this incident did not cost the affected horses an opportunity at a better placing. As a result, there was no change to the order of finish. The order of finish is 8-9-5-7.
