Race 7

In the 7th race at Belmont at the Big A on 11/02/2024 there was a Stewards inquiry involving the #9 Mozambique, who finished second, and #6 Free Dance, who finished 3rd. The incident occurred at the top of the stretch. After reviewing the replay and questioning the riders involved, the Stewards determined that both, #9 Mozambique and #6 Free Dance, make mutual contact during the stretch run. The Stewards were satisfied that these incidents did not affect the outcome of the race and as a result there was no change to the order of finish. The order of finish is 1-9-6-2.
