by Pat McKenna

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has moved Saturday’s eight-race card at Aqueduct Racetrack to Sunday due to a strong coastal storm forecast to impact the New York metropolitan area beginning late Friday and throughout Saturday.

Saturday’s card, headlined by the $100,000 Biogio’s Rose, will move in its entirety to Sunday with a first post time of 1:20 p.m. Eastern. Races initially offered for Sunday, March 24 will be brought back as extras over the next week beginning Thursday, March 28.

Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting on Saturday, and online wagering is available through www.NYRABets.com. For additional information on the Big A winter meet, as well as a complete stakes schedule, visit NYRA.com.

America’s Day at the Races will air Saturday on FS2, and feature live coverage of Oaklawn and Tampa Bay Downs beginning at 3 p.m. Eastern.
