Saturday’s card at Belmont at the Big A will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $39,020 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s 10-race program. Additionally, there will be a late Pick 5 carryover of $323,211 into Saturday’s Late Pick 5.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $3,251.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Friday’s Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 5 as Master Freud [No. 5, $7.30] took a six-furlong turf maiden tilt for New York-breds with Romero Maragh aboard for trainer Robert Klesaris.

Conditioner Kelsey Danner sent out the next winner in the Hall of Famer John Velazquez-piloted Mangetsu [No. 2, $18.60], who took a 1 1/16-mile state-bred turf maiden in Race 6, which commenced the Late Pick 5. Race 7 saw Bossmakinbossmoves [No. 5, $28.20] launch another upset in a one-turn mile claimer, with Samuel Camacho, Jr. up for trainer David Jacobson.

In Race 8, a six-furlong turf optional-claimer for New York-breds, Mz Big Bucks [No. 3, $14.80] continued the upsets with a trip engineered by Kendrick Carmouche for trainer Michelle Nevin.

The Christophe Clement-conditioned Les Reys [No 3. $14.60] took the day’s featured Listed $150,000 Winter Memories with a smart ride from Hall of Famer Joel Rosario going one mile on turf, in Race 9.

With 2-of-11 horses covered heading into the last leg of the Pick 6 and eight horses covered in the late Pick 5, the longest price of the sequences came through as the Emron Ibrahim-trained and Dylan Davis-piloted Misseliofwar [No. 1, $61] won a six-furlong state-bred maiden claimer in Race 10, triggering a carryover in both wagers.

Saturday’s Pick 6 begins in Race 6 at approximately 3:08 p.m. Eastern, while the late Pick 5 begins in Race 7 at approximately 3:40 p.m. The sequences include the Grade 3, $350,000 Fasig-Tipton Jockey Club Oaks Invitational [Race 10]. First post on the 11-race card is 12:35 p.m.
